Until the official departure of the United Kingdom (UK) from the European Union (EU), the rights and duties of Portuguese citizens in the UK remain the same.
Given the information available to date, EU citizens and their family members residing in the UK will have to apply to the UK authorities for settled status or pre-settled status at least by 31 December 2020.
