Did you know that you can be entitled to cross-border legal aid?
Council Directive 2003/8/EC of 27 January 2003 (transposed into national law by Lau no. 34/2004 of 29 July 2004)
It lays down minimum rules to improve access to justice in cross-border disputes where the competent court is located in a Member State of the European Union.
The request for legal protection is submitted through the IT platform available on the Social Security website, which issues proof of delivery. The decision period is 30 days. See here the Practical Guide for Legal Protection.
